Automotive Maintenance Technician (FT)

Performs minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Troubleshoots, diagnoses and completes repairs on all types of company vehicles * Performs preventive maintenance * Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing and waxing * Performs periodic systems checks and daily maintenance checks of automotive equipment for interior and exterior cleanliness * Responds to minor emergency mechanical issues * Ensures vehicle maintenance supplies and parts are ordered and in stock * Provides full service on equipment all seasons * Checks gas and oil on daily basis * Checks tire pressure daily and maintains proper air pressure * Cleans and maintains garage area in an orderly condition * Reports any system malfunction of automotive equipment to the Location Manager * Ensures compliance with MAPS/WHEELS programs * Ensures all vehicles' licenses and insurance are current MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education * High School or GED equivalent Certification * ASE certification preferred Experience * 1+ years of mechanic experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude * Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record * Ability to work effectively with others Postal Code: 46208 Category (Portal Searching): Cemetery Maintenance Job Location: US-IN - Indianapolis
