Established in 1980, the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center (GLFHC) is a multi-site mission-driven non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to residents throughout the Merrimack Valley. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites throughout the service area and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program. GLFHC is currently seeking an Inventory Support Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director, the Inventory Support Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the entire organization regarding their physical inventories and reconciliations. The Inventory Support Coordinator will be required to learn all aspects of inventory management and keep accurate inventory compliance records for the organization. The position requires the ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail. All tasks involving 340B inventory must adhere to 340B guidelines to ensure 340B integrity. This position will serve as backup to the Pharmacy Delivery Driver. The Inventory Support Coordinator duties include but are not limited to the following: * Conduct regular organization inventory. * Maintain adequate inventory for the organization and sustain established inventory levels. * Adjust inventory par levels to balance inventory according to usage, for products availability and cost effective inventory control. * Assist with all inventory related audits for the organization. * Generate reports detailing volume, profitability, pricing and other reporting metric as needed. * Analyze invoices for hidden fees and charges. * Work with department's managers and/or supervisor in maintaining proper inventory. * Reviews and verifies delivery information and schedules. * Loads vehicles with orders for delivery. * Transports and delivers medication in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage and/or loss. Qualifications * Prior experience in inventory software, preferred. * Strong administrative skills including: Working knowledge of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Exhibits familiarity with the range of organization's product. * Demonstrate ability to operate pallet jack and safety procedures in the stockroom. * Well-developed organizational skills; strong follow through skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Self-directed; reliable; detail oriented. Demonstrated work ethic of confidentiality and professionalism. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. * Negotiation ability. Knowledge of purchase order systems and purchase order generation. Data entry skills. Attention to detail and accuracy a must. Strong problem-solving skills. * One to two years of Inventory management experience, 340B inventory experience preferred. * Five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. The Inventory Support Coordinator should be willing to take additional training to sharpen any skill deficiencies. * Valid Massachusetts Driver's License and good driving record.
