Senior Capture ManagerPosition SummaryHatalom is seeking an experienced Senior Capture Manager to drive strategic growth and lead the pursuit of large-scale government contracts. This role is responsible for developing and executing capture strategies to secure new business with federal, state, and local government agencies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in federal acquisition, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement and has a strong track record of winning complex defense contracts. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills. The Senior Capture Manager will partner with executives, business development, proposal teams, and technical experts to shape winning proposals and ensure alignment with customer mission objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesCAPTURE STRATEGY & EXECUTION:• Own full lifecycle capture management for DoD efforts, from opportunity identification to award.• Develop and implement winning strategies that align with DoD mission requirements, priorities, funding cycles, and emerging requirements.• Conduct competitive analysis, price-to-win assessments, and risk evaluations to shape bid strategies.• Identify and secure prime contract vehicles (IDIQs, GWACs, OTAs, BPAs, etc.) to expand Hatalom's competitive positioning.• Develop strategic teaming partnerships, negotiating agreements with primes, subcontractors, and small businesses (SDVOSB, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, etc.).CUSTOMER & STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT:• Cultivate and expand relationships with DoD agencies, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Marine Corps,DIA, NSA, and NRO.• Engage government contracting officers, acquisition leaders, and program managers to shape opportunities pre-solicitation.• Leverage industry events, conferences, and professional organizations (AFCEA, NDIA, SOFIC, AUSA, etc.) to enhance market intelligence and positioning.Proposal DEVELOPMENT & BID MANAGEMENT:• Lead capture efforts in collaboration with proposal managers, solution architects, and pricing teams.• Guide winning themes and proposal strategies, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, mission objectives, and company capabilities.• Oversee development of technical solutions, management approaches, past performance volumes, and key differentiators to enhance proposal competitiveness.• Work with with technical and operational teams to refine solution offerings in areas such as cyber, courseware development, logistics, and sustainment.Collaboration & Reporting• Provide regular updatesto senior leadership on capture progress, win probability, and competitive positioning.• Maintain and expand the company's capture pipelines, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives.• Collaborate with business development, operations, and contracts teams to support seamless transition from capture to execution.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:• 10+ years of capture management experience in DoD contracting, defense technology, or national security programs.• Strong understanding of DoD procurement, FAR/DFARS, ITAR compliance, and government acquisition lifecycle.• Sales & Strategy: Proven success leading captures for large-scale defense contracts ($50M+ total contract value).• Existing relationships with DoD program offices, acquisition professionals, and defense industry primes.• Ability to lead cross-functional capture teams, influence internal and external stakeholders, and drive strategy execution.• Proficiency in GovWin, FPDS, SAM.gov, and other government procurement tools.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:• Active DoD Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret, or higher) strongly preferred.• Experience working with or for defense contractors • Strong understanding of DoD budget cycles, appropriations, and funding mechanisms.LOCATION: Orlando, FL- relocation assistance is not available for this position.
