We are looking for a responsible Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support the PTS team, a StandardAero company to receive and visually inspect incoming products for distribution throughout the business unit. You will maintain records and prepare documentation for all products shipped and received. Also, you will ensure that all items are received, recorded/accounted for, stored and issued in a safe, accurate and timely manner while also preparing and processing outbound orders. What you'll do: * Facilitate products coming in from freight companies * Unpacking the product * Logs received items into production management system to maintain lot control registry * Prepares and completes a variety of required documentation * Visually inspects incoming products for any obvious damage * Validates received products, verifying the documentation received with the item * Routing, Sorting and Stocking Products * Provides materials, components and engines to appropriate areas * Stocks consumables and parts * Maintains accurate inventory - cycle counts * Locate, pull and label material via the Pick Ticket process * Packing parts or major modules following specific government requirements * Logs shipped items into production management system to maintain lot control registry * Prepares and verifies required documentation * Loads products to be shipped out * Schedules shipping with freight companies * Thorough visual inspection of basic incoming products * Stocks general consumables and parts and provides products to specified areas * Packages basic products for shipment * General understanding of the production management system in which products shipped and received is logged Position Requirements: * Shipping/receiving/inventory experience * Basic computer skills (upload documents, shipping online) * Ability to lift or move heavy products (Up to 50 lbs.) * Strong interpersonal skills * Valid class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) * High school diploma or GED * Read, write, and speak English * Team player with organizational skills Preferred Characteristics: * Proven warehouse experience a plus * Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment a plus Benefits that make life better: * Comprehensive Healthcare * 401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vested * Paid Time Off starting on day one * Bonus opportunities * Health- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts * Short- & Long-Term Disability * Life & AD&D Insurance * Learning & Training opportunities
