Shawano County Parks is hiring for part-time and full-time seasonal summer help! We have positions available in the store, snack shop and grounds maintenance. Work Duties & Responsibilities: Under the limited direction of the County Park Director: * The grounds maintenance position independently performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance of County Parks and Recreational Trails, boat landings and other recreational areas, including but not limited to mowing lawns, trimming edges, raking grass clippings/leaves, painting buildings, fences, picnic tables, cleaning and disinfecting the toilet facilities, picking up trash, and equipment maintenance. Must be 18 years old for this position due to working with heavy equipment. * Store duties include, but are not limited to, accurately reserving campsites, general custodial duties in the store including sweeping and mopping of flours and maintaining the outside of the building, price and stock items, and customer service. * Snack shop duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring customer orders are filled accurately and timely, general custodial duties including sweeping and mopping of floors, and cleaning equipment, using fryers, grills, soft serve ice cream machine and slushy machine.
