Job DetailsJob LocationBHC Overhead Corp Office - Deer Park, NYSalary Range$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 SalaryDescriptionBusiness Title:- Director of Training & Succession PlanningJob Purpose:- To design, develop, and implement comprehensive training and succession planning programs that enhance employee skills, foster leadership development, and ensure business continuity within COSTELLOS ACE. This role will focus on creating a culture of continuous learning and development while identifying and nurturing future leaders for the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy aligned with COSTELLOS ACE's business objectives, including needs assessments, curriculum development, delivery methods, and evaluation metrics.- Design and deliver training programs across various formats (e.g., in-person, online, blended learning) covering a wide range of topics, including product knowledge, technical skills, leadership development, and compliance.- Manage the training budget and resources effectively, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal utilization of available tools and technologies.- Establish and maintain a robust succession planning process, identifying key roles and potential successors, developing individualized development plans, and implementing talent review mechanisms.- Collaborate with senior management and HR business partners to identify future talent needs and develop strategies to address skill gaps and leadership pipeline requirements.- Oversee the performance management process, ensuring alignment with training and development initiatives and providing feedback to employees on their progress.- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in training and development, incorporating innovative approaches to enhance program effectiveness.- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and training providers to ensure seamless program delivery and access to relevant resources.- Track and analyze training program effectiveness, using data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate the impact of training initiatives on business outcomes.- Lead and mentor a team of training and development professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.QualificationsRequired Education:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.Required Experience:- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in training and development, succession planning, and talent management.- Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing effective training programs.- Experience in needs analysis, curriculum development, and training evaluation.- Experience with various learning management systems (LMS).- Experience managing and developing a team of training professionals.- Experience in succession planning methodologies and implementation.- Experience working with senior management to identify and develop high-potential employees.- Experience in a retail or similar fast-paced environment preferred.Required Skills and Abilities:- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
