For further information about the E-Verify program, please click here: click here Job Summary The Manager, Inventory Control is responsible for global oversite of inventory control process and procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory counts, supporting local cycle and physical count activities, and aiding in discrepancy identification and resolution. Position oversees inventory controls of finished goods and raw materials in global warehousing environments. Duties & Responsibilities * Directs cycle and physical inventory counts at global locations across various time zones * Maintain, track, and analyze local and inventory accuracy goals * Work closely with local warehouse Management and inventory control team to review and resolve variances * Reconcile counts, perform root cause analysis and trending. Track errors and report information for management review * Aggregate all cycle count data from local manager for review and publication; Determine accuracy percentages in both summary and detail. * Collaborate with finance, outside auditors and other functional areas as needed to review and maintain a robust inventory control process * Review ABC classifications annually or at Management's direction * Ensure all files, spreadsheets and systems pertaining to cycle counts and physical inventories are up to date and maintained as required to support compliance and audit readiness * Serve as subject matter expert for global inventory processes and practice. Support audit inquiries and procedural controls to ensure adherence to the latest business practices. * Assist in implementation and launch of warehouse control systems for improved inventory control * Identify and support opportunities to reduce risk of shrinkage, spoilage, and count errors. * Streamline and enhance productivity of inventory controls through technological efficiencies and best practices. * Liaise with Finance in the performance of independent audits. * Maintain currency in warehouse processes to assess inventory control improvement opportunities and assess risk. * Maintain an organized, documented and efficient inventory control system * Performs special projects as requested Minimum Qualifications * Prior experience in advanced inventory controls and practice * Analytical and organizational skills * Essential mathematical and statistical analysis skills * Experience in control of documents and material tracking * PC skills (MS-Office, ERP) * Familiarity with software-based cycle count and physical inventory programs such as Oracle and SAP * Self-directing with exceptional attention to detail * Comfortable with remote and work hour variability to support global operational needs. * Broad cross functional warehousing and distribution experience. * Good housekeeping and recordkeeping; Preferred Qualifications * Demonstrated leadership experience in inventory controls, cycle counting, physical inventories, use of Oracle and warehouse management practices * APICS certification. Education High School Diploma or GED is required, and/or equivalent related years of experience. Bachelor's degree is highly desirable. Compensation The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,00 - $100,000 plus benefits. Actual placement within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to skills, education, and experience. This position also qualifies for up to 15% annual bonus based on Company, department, and individual performance. It requires frequent sitting, lifting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some travel may be necessary to support domestic and international audits or inventory assessments., Must be able to travel between local facilities in Irvine, travel domestically and internationally..
