Job Summary: Reporting directly to our VP of Business Development, the Customer Account Manager is responsible for executing strategic customer upsell campaigns, renewals, and retention activities within our customer accounts. Driving revenue growth, while ensuring customers are achieving success with our products and services. The ideal candidate will serve as a trust advisor, understanding customer needs and aligning them with our solution to maximize value. As a Customer Account Manager at B&L key responsibilities include the following: Customer Growth & Sales * Identify upselling opportunities within the existing customer base to drive revenue growth. * Managing high levels of customer retention. Proactively address potential churn risks. * Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets. * Utilize value-based selling skills to uncover clients' existing service issues and needs, explain our value proposition, and provide alternative solutions to meet the customer's needs. * Collaborate with Account Executive's and Marketing team members to develop targeted campaigns for customer expansion. * Effectively use the CRM tool to enter all customer-related information into the system. * Respond to requests from customers for information and delivery of online presentations. * Drive market share gains and meet company expectations for growth. Customer Success & Relationship Management * Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. * Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess customer satisfaction and product adoption. * Address customer concerns and ensure prompt resolution to maintain high retention rates. * Advocate for customers internally, providing feedback to product and support teams to improve customer experience. Required Skills and Experience * Bachelor's degree or equivalent years in job experience. * 2+ years of experience in sales or sales support role, preferably customer success, inside sales, telemarketing and/or prospecting with account management responsibilities. Desired Skills and Experience * Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to easily understand the technology and communicate it to customers. * Quick learner and self-starter with an entrepreneurial work ethic * Goal-oriented with strong selling skills. * Ability to handle incoming inquiries and bring them to contract closure. Compensation * $50,000 - $55,000 base salary * This is a commission-eligible role. * Candidates can expect salary offers that range from the minimum to the midpoint of the salary range. * B&L provides full pay range so candidates can consider their growth potential. Additional Details * This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Bridgman office and allows 2 days per week, work from home. * This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in and be located in the US. * This position could require up to 5% travel.
