Associate Field Service Representative - Houston, TX

Work Flexibility: Remote Must be in the Houston, TX area What you will do - As an Associate Field Service Representative, you will perform independent and/or supervised on-site installations, preventive maintenance, and repair of our Mako Robot. The Mako Robot is a highly complex robotics medical equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction and providing both phone and on-site customer support. Also, verifying and approving the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment. * Exercise sound judgment and decision making within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods/techniques for obtaining solutions * Independently manage work calendar and travel schedule * Serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters. * Achieve and maintain a high level of performance, allowing Stryker to meet and exceed the company's financial goals and performance metrics * Collaborate with Sr. Level Field Service Representatives and Sales * Manage and control field inventory, tools, test equipment, technical documentation, and other assigned equipment * Prepare and submit applicable field service documentation in a complete, accurate and timely manner. This includes but is not limited to, field service reports, expense reports and service checklists * Other duties may include, but are not limited to, travel and assist in other Field Service team members territories, instructing/training customers on technical operation and maintenance of equipment, software and hardware upgrades/updates, installation, and maintenance of equipment at conventions, road shows, and cadaver labs or seminars as required What you need - Required - * 3+ years of relevant experience * High school diploma or equivalent * Demonstrates functional technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills * Possess ability to schedule and work independently or with a team on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors - required Preferred - * Associates or Bachelors * Previous experience as a technical field service professional or in a relevant capacity is - preferred Travel Percentage: 80% Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
