Title: WISCO Trucking Diesel Mechanic Technician ID: 1121927389 Location: Williston, North Dakota Department: Operations Job Description WTI is hiring qualified diesel mechanics in Williston North Dakota! * $2,240 weekly average gross for a typical 5 day workweek * $30 - $35 per hour for experienced mechanics * Day shift, usually 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week (or more if desired) * Overtime pay (time and a half) up to $52.50 for hours over 40 per week WISCO Trucking, a leading provider of oilfield services, is seeking a reliable Diesel Mechanic of all skill levels to join our team in Williston, North Dakota. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment used in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and a commitment to keeping our fleet of vehicles and machinery running efficiently. Requirements * Experience as a diesel mechanic, with hands-on experience in the oilfield, construction, or heavy equipment industries. * High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or trade school preferred). * Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical system maintenance * Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Physical Requirements: * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. * Must be able to work in outdoor environments, including extreme temperatures, and on uneven surfaces. * Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and crouch for extended periods. Key Responsibilities: * Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks, oilfield equipment, and other heavy machinery. * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrains. * Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. * Ability to perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles including but not limited to oil changes, tire changes, and service brakes, shoes and drums. * Mechanic follows the established truck and equipment preventative maintenance schedule provided by the Service Manager. #TS-OMNI-NonDOT-WTI# #TS-OMNI-DOT-WTI# General Benefits: Blue Cross/Blue Shield Healthcare, Dental and Vision package Eligible on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment Disability Insurance, AD&D and Supplemental Employer paid Life Insurance, Matching 401K Retirement Plan, eligible on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment Apply Now
