Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic in Coronado, CA. Summary: The Automotive Service Technician and Mechanic will support comprehensive vehicle equipment service support for Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU ONE) on the West Coast, Hawaii, Guam and Japan. This group maintains a versatile fleet of vehicles tailored for various operational and training needs. The support will cover all phases of force deployment, redeployment, and sustainment, crucial for the execution of EOD training, exercises, and missions. Duties and Responsibilities: * Provide routine, interim and field level maintenance for all EODGRU ONE vehicles. * Provide troubleshooting and technical support for all EODGRU ONE vehicles. * Provide basic hand tools and specialty tools required for their trade specialty. Required Qualifications: * Each mechanic must have a minimum of two (2) years' experience as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) mechanic at an automotive dealership, as a commercial automotive mechanic, or have equivalent military experience. * Must have HS Diploma or equivalent * Obtain and maintain a secret clearance * All personnel must possess a valid state driver's license from their state of residency for the operation of motor vehicles. Preferred Qualifications: * Possess an ASE certification in diesel engines or other Heavy Truck Categories as specified above. * Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) to operate and test vehicles exceeding 26,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) Pay Range: The pay range for this role is $28.80 -29.39 hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. ADA: * Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise. * Must have manual and finger dexterity; able to grasp, manipulate, assemble small objects. * Office, warehouse, shipboard noise conditions range from very quiet to loud noise. * Able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment and boxes of no less than 50 pounds.
