Description Job Title: High Voltage Field Service Specialist The opportunity Join Hitachi Energy as a High Voltage Field Service Specialist and take on a pivotal role in executing complex field assignments involving the installation, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of high voltage equipment up to 800kV. How you'll make an impact * Perform complex field service operations requiring strong technical skills. * Deliver professional services in installation, maintenance, repairs, and more. * Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating their needs. * Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues. * Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems with minimal assistance. * Develop potential sales and business opportunities through customer knowledge. * Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis. * Conduct tests and compile data to resolve operating problems. Your background * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes. * Trade education or experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical trades. * College or university diploma/degree in a technical field is an asset. * More than 5 years of experience in technical field service work. * Hands-on experience with high voltage equipment up to 800kV. * Knowledge of electrical testing and substation construction. * Leadership experience in coordinating and leading crews on projects. * Proficiency in MS Office and test equipment software. * Valid driver's license and ability to work in the US. * Willingness to travel up to 80%.
