Metro Detroit landscape company with very aggressive growth goals is looking for a salesperson to drive business development. The company is open to candidates without landscaping experience; however, the ideal candidate will have sufficient industry experience to execute a full-cycle sales process, including: generating opportunities, meeting with prospects and clients, accurately estimating time and materials, preparing proposals, presenting and finally closing.ResponsibilitiesCall on property managers, apartment complexes, and other buyers of commercial landscaping and snow servicesDocument prospecting and sales activityMeet with prospects and clients to understand their landscaping needsPrepare estimates and proposals and present to prospect or clientMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goalsRepresent the company in a professional mannerOther tasks and responsibilities as necessary to advance the companyRequirementsMust be able to handle rejection in the course of prospectingMust be willing to make cold calls using the phone and emailMust have strong communication ability both written and verbalAble and willing to work at office in Oak Park, MI.
