Head Banquet Captain

The Dinex Group is seeking a Head Banquet Captain to lead the banquet team at a new Venue opening in 2025. The  Head Banquet Captain  will oversee the day-to-day operations of the catering services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service, a keen eye for detail, and strong leadership skills to manage a team of catering staff effectively. This role requires strategic planning and operational coordination to ensure the success of the catering team.   Essential Job Duties Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, delivery logistics, and service execution. Monitor inventory levels and procurement to maintain sufficient supplies while minimizing waste and costs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all catering facilities. Oversee event setup, service execution, and breakdown Troubleshoot any issues or challenges that arise during events, implementing solutions to ensure client satisfaction.  Team Leadership:  Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.  Schedule staff effectively   Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their catering needs and expectations.  Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally    Qualifications 3 years in a Banquet Captain or Maitre D role Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
