Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Mamajuana Cafe Philly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a supervisory role within a fast-paced restaurant environment and possess excellent bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, exceptional customer service, and effective people management. Responsibilities: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and guest satisfaction. Supervise and train staff, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure a cohesive and motivated team. Manage reservations using reservation applications, optimizing table turnover and maximizing guest satisfaction. Handle customer service issues, resolve conflicts, and address guest complaints promptly and professionally. Implement and maintain operational procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate and assist in staff scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage for nights, weekends, and peak hours. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage costs effectively. Support promotional activities and special events to drive business and enhance the guest experience. Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced restaurant environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish. Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Proven experience in people management, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation. Effective conflict resolution skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Proficiency in using reservation applications and other restaurant management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
