The Twenty Two is a luxury lifestyle hotel based in London. We are opening a new property with an all-day public restaurant and private members' club located in the former Margaret Louisa Home in Union Square. We are looking for a  Maí®tre D  to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who are customer service oriented and have a passion for hospitality. Front desk experience is a plus. If you are warm, eager, and dedicated, we would love to meet you! *Pay for this role is still being determined and based on experience. Overview: The Maí®tre D will assist our members and guests in The Living Room and members Dining Room within The Twenty Two. Maí®tre Ds supervise the host team, acting as a lead in looking after table allocations, running the booking system, and liaising with managers of different departments.  General Responsibilities: Provides an outstanding level of service to all guests by delivering an engaging, attentive, and charismatic service. Trains and develops the reception/host team, overseeing their performance and providing feedback/coaching. Addresses any issues or complaints from guests promptly and professionally.  Offers a warm welcome to all members and guests.  Facilitates own learning and development by attending all food and beverage training, on the job training, stages, and cross training. Coordinates with the dining team members to ensure all guest requests have been relayed. Always appears presentable and competent when representing the business. Communicates clearly and effectively with all parties.
