UHP is currently affiliated with 182 providers consisting of 119 physicians and 63 advanced practice providers operating out of 54 locations across Southern, Central, and Northern California.POSITION SUMMARYUnio Health Partners is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead the financial operations of our multi-site, physician-led Management Services Organization (MSO). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in multi-site clinic financial management, partnership accounting, and MSO operations, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial reporting and controlsIf you're a results-driven finance leader with MSO and partnership accounting expertise, we encourage you to apply!What you will be doingFinancial Management & Reporting:Oversee all accounting operations, including multi-site financial consolidation, revenue close management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Prepare and present GAAP-compliant financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basisManage and optimize the financial reporting structure across multiple clinics and physician partnerships.Ensure clinic/ site-based lease accounting compliance.Partnership & MSO Accounting:Oversee equity structures, physician distributions, and joint venture accounting for affiliated and owned practices.Manage financial integration for newly acquired or affiliated clinics, including due diligence and onboarding of financial systems, including purchase accounting and M&A activities.Budgeting & Financial Planning:Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process across all sites.Collaborate with operations leadership to develop KPIs and financial benchmarks for clinic performance.Provide financial insights to support growth strategies, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.Compliance & Internal Controls:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare financial regulations.Oversee tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting.Lead financial audits (internal and external).Team Leadership & Process Optimization:Work closely with executive leadership and private equity partners to drive financial strategies.What you will bring to the teamBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's preferred).CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.Experience in multi-site healthcare organizations, MSOs, or physician group management.Strong knowledge of GAAP, healthcare financial reporting, and partnership accounting.Proficiency in healthcare financial systems, ERP platforms, and revenue cycle analytics.Expertise in private equity-backed healthcare businesses or risk-bearing entities is a plus.What we can offer youCompetitive Salary with 20% bonus opportunityHealth Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)Generous time off (start accruing on your first day - no waiting period)Paid Holidays401(k)Company DiscountsCollaborative work environment - we want our employees to have a say in how we run our officeEmployee RecognitionCompensation is depending on a number of factors including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, or experience that may fall outside of the range shown
