BIM-VDC Technician-MEP Systems

About the Position: The BIM/VDC Technician will assist in the design of industrial piping and/or HVAC piping systems. He or she will develop 3D models and generate construction documents from these models. Building-related projects will include commercial buildings, industrial plants, hospitals, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Navisworks, Revit, Revitzo, and BIM Track. Responsibilities: Prepare and review 3D models to generate construction documents. Have extensive knowledge of BIM. Be willing to travel to job sites and project meetings. Participate in the QA/QC process. Have a thorough understanding of HVAC and/or industrial piping systems. Requirements: Experience in the construction process and production of drawings for coordination, fabrication, and installation of systems. Extensive experience with Autodesk Revit. Ability to adapt to VDC standards and processes. Ability to work independently and in a team. Drafting degree preferred, but not required dependent upon level of experience.
