Here's where you come in.TheDirector, Data & Analyticswill design, implement, and maintain robust analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights to the business. This position will focus on building scalable data pipelines, creating efficient data models, and delivering advanced visualizations in Power BI. This is a technical, hands-on role that requires working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business objectives and operate efficiently in a production environment.All benefits-eligible employees are provided the following benefits:Employee Discount (allemployees eligible)Paid-Time-Off (varies by State, please ask your Recruiter for more info)Health, vision, and dental insurance98Point6 (remote primary care)401k with 4% matching (100% vested immediately)Employee Assistance ProgramPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceShort & Long Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountWellness ProgramResponsibilities:Solution Design and DevelopmentDesign and implement end-to-end analytics solutions, including ETL pipelines, data integration, and visualizations.Develop and optimize scalable data models to support reporting and analytical needs.Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring performance and usability.Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple sources.Production Support and OptimizationMonitor and maintain the health of data pipelines and analytics systems to ensure continuous availability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production data processes and visualizations.Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize system performance and reliability.Implement automation for recurring data tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.Data Integration and GovernanceIntegrate diverse data sources, including ERP, CRM, and third-party systems, into a unified platform.Ensure data quality by implementing validation checks and monitoring data flows.Adhere to data governance policies to maintain security, compliance, and accuracy.Collaborate with IT to design and maintain robust data infrastructure, including cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure quality, security, and compliance.Collaboration and Stakeholder EngagementWork closely with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Collaborate with data engineers and IT staff to build robust infrastructure for analytics.Communicate complex data concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve existing data workflows, visualizations, and models.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to apply innovative solutions.Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for analytics solutions.Experience & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field required.6+ years of hands-on experience in analytics, data integration, or data engineering required.Proficiency with Power BI, including dashboard creation, DAX, and performance optimization required.Strong skills in SQL, including complex query development and optimization required.Experience building ETL pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources required.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP required.Experience working in production environments with real-time or near-real-time data processing preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for data manipulation preferred, but not requiredCertifications in data analytics or cloud technologies preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with regulated industries, such as cannabis, healthcare, or finance preferred, but not requiredThis position is remote; however, candidates must reside in one of the following states to be considered:California, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wyoming.Our company is currently unable to support employment in states outside of this list.
