Junior Office Technology System Administrator

Thank you for your interest in Generic Network Systems. GNS is looking to expand our geographical reach with an opportunity for a technically savvy and keen admin looking to get experience with more technologies and work in a small but smart global team. The position is mostly remote but the successful candidate will need to have easy access to the Chicago metro area for infrequent on-site visits to a number of our clients there. The rest of the time, they will work in a small but dedicated and professional team focusing on supporting those clients and involving Azure, AWS, and lots of Windows-based systems. We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements: Solid knowledge and experience of Windows OS and applications such as Excel and Word. Knowledge of Laptop and MDM solutions. Knowledge of Azure and AWS and a desire to learn more. Presentable and with the ability to communicate well with our important clients. Organized and efficient in solving problems, and documenting solutions to help teammates. Works well in a team that is geographically diverse. We envisage this would be a great opportunity for a recent (1-2 years) college grad looking to take the next step in their IT career, but we are open to all comers and would very much like to have a call with you to discuss the position and see if it's a good fit, whatever your background.
