VillageCare has delivered quality health care services to individuals residing within New York City for over 45 years.Your role as a Director of Project ManagementAs the Director of Project Management at VillageCare, you will play a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of regulatory changes that impact our organization. Your expertise will enable you to facilitate comprehensive impact assessments while leveraging your knowledge of end-to-end processes to identify critical stakeholders for each regulatory project. You will orchestrate requirement-gathering sessions to operationalize new regulations and create effective tracking mechanisms, ensuring we meet competing deadlines.Your ability to manage tasks and stakeholder communications will be essential for timely project completions, as you implement quality control measures to uphold our standards. Additionally, you will proactively identify risks, engage stakeholders in mitigation strategies, and escalate concerns to senior management as needed. By establishing a robust infrastructure within the Regulatory and Compliance teams, you will foster collaboration and problem-solving, ensuring successful project outcomes and synthesizing activities through executive-level reporting.Are you a good fit for this Director of Project Management job?To excel as the Director of Project Management at VillageCare, candidates must possess a robust blend of leadership, analytical, and communication skills. With a minimum of five years of professional experience in the Government Programs space, preferably in Managed Care Organizations, you will have a proven track record of leading complex projects effectively. A Bachelor's degree, along with a Project Management Specialist (PMP) Certification or a comparable credential, is essential, while Six Sigma Certification is highly preferred for those looking to enhance operational efficiency. Your adeptness in leveraging software tools will be crucial for orchestrating requirement-gathering sessions and managing project tracking mechanisms. Strong problem-solving abilities will aid in risk identification and mitigation strategy development, while excellent interpersonal skills will facilitate productive stakeholder communications.This role demands a proactive approach to navigating regulatory landscapes, ensuring that all project deliverables consistently meet established standards and timelines.Knowledge and skills required for the position are:Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional work and proven leadership within Government Programs space, preferably at Managed Care Organization(s).Education and certification: Bachelor's degree and Project Management Specialist (PMP) Certification or comparable certification required.
