Chief Operations Officer (COO) - ABA ServicesThank you for considering Developmental Pathways!What You'll Do:As COO, you will lead and oversee all operational aspects of Developmental Pathways, ensuringscalable growth , efficient service delivery, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the CEO, you will drivebusiness expansion while maintaining high-quality client careandaligning organizational strategy with talent, operations, and cultureto support long-term success.Key Responsibilities:Enterprise Growth & Operational StrategyDevelop and execute scalable growth strategies that expand our footprint while maintaining quality and compliance.Oversee multi-site operations, ensuring consistency in service delivery, efficiency, and regulatory adherence.Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.Identify new market opportunities, optimize business models, and implement operational efficiencies that enhance sustainability.Strategic Human Capital & Organizational AlignmentArchitect and drive a high-impact human capital strategy that aligns with the organization's long-term vision, ensuring HR functions as a strategic enabler of business growth, operational excellence, and cultural integrity.Oversee enterprise-wide workforce planning and talent strategy, ensuring that human capital investments are optimized to support scalability, service delivery, and competitive positioning in the ABA sector.Establish executive-level priorities for leadership development, organizational design, and succession planning, fostering a resilient and future-ready workforce.Ensure the seamless integration of HR policies, culture initiatives, and compliance frameworks with overarching business objectives, positioning the organization as an industry leader in workforce management and employee engagement.Leverage data-driven insights and workforce analytics to inform strategic decision-making, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvements in talent acquisition, retention, and organizational effectiveness.Clinical & Compliance OversightWork closely with the CEO, who oversees the clinical division, to ensure operational alignment with clinical objectives, regulatory requirements, and service excellence.Partner with Clinical Directors to support workforce readiness, training initiatives, and professional development that enhance service quality and client outcomes.Ensure compliance with BACB, HIPAA, and California state regulations, integrating best practices into operational workflows.Oversee contracting, credentialing, and compliance audits with insurance providers and funding agencies, ensuring seamless reimbursement processes and regulatory adherence.Financial Stewardship & Business DevelopmentWork closely with the finance team to ensure financial sustainability, cost controls, and revenue optimization.Implement data-driven financial strategies that align with business growth and operational scalability.Drive contract negotiations and payer relationships to support profitability and service expansion.Technology & Process OptimizationLead digital transformation efforts, leveraging automation, analytics, and system integrations to enhance efficiency in scheduling, billing, and documentation.Implement scalable practice management and HRIS systems to streamline operations and workforce management.What You Bring:10+ years of executive leadership experience in an ABA organization or behavioral healthcare setting.Proven success in scaling operations, workforce alignment, and driving business expansion.Expertise in human capital strategy, workforce planning, and leadership development.Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue cycle management.Experience navigating California-specific ABA regulations and compliance standards.A visionary leader with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or a related field.BCBA certification or familiarity with ABA clinical frameworks.Experience with enterprise-level practice management systems.Track record of scaling an ABA business.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance and professional development opportunities.Benefits:401(k)Bonus OpportunitiesDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid sick timePaid time offVision insuranceJob Type:Full-timeSalary:$110k+ (starting) per yearExpected hours:Full-Time 9:00am-6:00pmLocation:Office (San Fernando Valley)Work Location:On-siteDevelopmental Pathways, Inc is an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or health insurance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
