We partner with our clients globally to do great things for a better future.Drawing upon our global team and expansive network of senior advisors, we provide advisory services across our five business segments on a stand-alone or fully integrated basis to help our clients solve complex business challenges.The Energy & Infrastructure Team at TeneoThe Energy & Infrastructure team works closely with the Management Consulting Division, focusing on seizing growth opportunities and managing risks associated with decarbonization.This is not "consulting as usual" - as a member of the team, you'll work in small teams and have direct contact with world-leading energy experts and very senior clients on their most urgent issues.The Role:As a Vice President, you'll be an accomplished member of the Teneo Management Consulting team, managing cases with the support of Managing Directors and developing junior team members. This role will serve leading companies in energy and infrastructure on complex issues surrounding policy, technology and innovation, growth, and financial strategy, with a particular focus on sustainability and decarbonization.Responsibilities:Structure and lead projects, working directly with a Senior Vice President or Managing Director.Demonstrate a strong consulting skill set, leading research & analysis programs and structuring written output.Develop the "answer" from initial hypothesis through refinement and validation.Manage case teams on a day-to-day basis, including delegating and providing coaching to junior colleagues.Support Senior Vice Presidents and Managing Directors in Business Development, including developing thought leadership and drafting proposals.Handle day-to-day liaison with senior clients, empathizing with their issues.Lead presentations confidently and engagingly.Carry out business development and firm-building work.Work effectively from remote or client-site locations; some travel may be required.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g. finance, engineering, economics).5+ years' relevant work experience, ideally within a Strategy Consulting environment; experience in energy/infrastructure is advantageous.Demonstrated interest and experience in energy transition and sustainability targets.A proven track record of leading consulting teams through complete engagements.Excellent analytical skills and verbal/written communication skills.Entrepreneurial attitude: Passionate, curious, results-oriented.Evidence of teamwork and leadership, alongside relevant work experience.Operates at a fast pace, influencing and challenging when needed.Ensures all reports and written work are accurate.Can confidently influence and negotiate while maintaining positive relationships.What We OfferAs a Teneo employee, your compensation is performance-based and includes flexible time off policy; medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability, life insurance; a 401K plan; commuter benefits; and other perks.Our Commitment to Diversity and InclusionTeneo is an equal opportunity employer and promotes a diverse and inclusive workplace.Base Salary Range:$200,000 - $220,000 (compensation will depend on several factors).Bonus Eligible:YesFlexible Work Policy:Teneo believes in in-person collaboration when possible, with an expectation of working from the office a minimum of three times a week for employees in New York and San Francisco.Apply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
