Vice President of Business Development- Land Services ProSource, a leader in the right of way, acquisition, and relocation industry, is searching for a Vice President of Business Development. Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, ProSource is poised for expansion and growth and is looking for the perfect Business Development candidate to add to our team. Job Summary: The Vice President of Business Development - Land Services is responsible for driving strategic growth, identifying new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships within the land services sector. This executive leadership role requires a strong understanding of land services, real estate, infrastructure development, and land management to expand the company's market presence and achieve revenue targets. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to grow market share and revenue within the land services sector. Maintain and add to the existing CRM database of current and prospective clients. Conduct cold calls to generate relationships with prospective clients. Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and client engagement. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and industry associations. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks. Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote brand awareness and business growth. Meet quotas for all activities included but not limited to calls, appointments, and sales goals. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on business development progress to executive leadership and the board of directors. Collaborate with ProSource leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts. Maintain short- and long-term business development plans. Any other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in business development, sales or leadership roles within land services, real estate, infrastructure industries, or equivalent experience. 4+ years of cold calling experience; previous experience in an outbound call center, inside sales, or related experience. Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close. Proven track record of securing large-scale contracts and driving revenue growth. Strong understanding of land acquisition and regulatory requirements. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to develop, implement, and maintain long-term business strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and analytical skills. Willingness to travel as needed to support business development activities. Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office 365 and CRM experience preferred. NetSuite experience a plus. Supervisory Responsibilities: Interviews, hires, and trains new business development team members as the team grows. Oversee and manage business development (marketing specialist and proposal specialist) team members. Provides constructive feedback and performance evaluations for all direct report team members. Physical Demands and Work Environment: The Vice President of Business Development will spend a significant amount of time working remotely and/or traveling to meet clients for the goal of company growth. This position will require regular use of a computer as well as other standard office equipment. The position may require sitting or standing for extended periods of time and may involve light lifting or carrying documents or equipment.
