Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Location: New York, Flatiron (fully On-site) Company: Our client equips accountants with a team of AI agents to take on real workflows. The product is an AI platform built to take on accounting & finance workflows end to end. It combines ML and accounting expertise to build systems that do real work for users in production today. The Product: Agents > chatbots: The agents do real work. They made a bet from day one on agents over chatbots, and have built the most capable accounting agents - that are doers , not just talkers . Understanding + learning > memorization. The product is built system-first to understand accounting, adapt its intelligence to the engagement it's working on, and easily pick up new workflows. The Ai agents take real work off of accountants' plates, reporting back with results and freeing them up to focus on higher-level work. This has led to an increase in revenue by 10x in recent months, are you ready to revolutionise accounting? About the team: The team is 13 strong of highly skilled engineers and team members, working fully in-person with a shared love of solving hard problems using whiteboards. Their (non-WeWork) office is around the corner from Madison Square Park in Flatiron. About the role: As a leader in their Product Engineering team, you won't just ship code, you'll own a product. You will be expected to think about the customer, prioritize various features, execute against company objectives, and be accountable for pushing the product forward. Responsibilities: Own the vision for all the software products being built Architect front-end and APIs to work in tandem well Build backend systems Building opinions on the right ways to solve customer needs Implement development best practices for quality and testing Your experience: 4+ years of experience in full stack engineering, ideally with Python, but open to various backgrounds Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment Experience leading a project Experience building products from scratch, 0-1 product development!
