Network Systems Engineer Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position The Telecom Network Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company. In this job you will join the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems division (SCIS), assisting in the management and operation of orbiting satellites through the deployment of ground systems positioned globally to support warfighters using a cellular-like service that replaces current narrowband tactical communication systems. This job can be worked remotely from home two days a week and on-site three days a week. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cellular telecom or satellite communications IP network system design, including VoIP and SIP services, and related troubleshooting. Perform requirements analysis, functional analysis, performance analysis and detailed trade studies. Develop and evaluate systems, networks, and information systems to ensure designs meet applicable governmental security specifications. Participate in Modeling and Simulation activities. Research and analyze data, such as vendor products, components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and application. Provide leadership and direction to lower-level employees. Provide engineering support to proposals. Guide development and test teams on successful completion of network design implementation and verification. QUALIFICATIONS U.S. citizenship is required with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or STEM and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience. Current state-of-the art IP Networking technique and technology experience with cellular telecom Radio Access Networks and Core Networks. Proficiency with SIP and VoIP protocols; including voice and data gateways for cellular telecom or WAN networks. Exposure to 3GPP mobile network standards related to the Core Network and Multi-Media Subsystem (MMS) elements. Proficiency with network system modeling tools and requirements management. Agile experience preferred.
