Network and Security Test Engineer Job Category: Information TechnologyTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental US CACI is seeking a Network and Security Test Engineer to support our customer onsite in the Norfolk, VA area. This team member will support the head of a mid-size to large Crypto and Key Management Program. The ideal person will have the opportunity to execute comprehensive test plans for product implementations, modifications, and enhancements. Responsibilities include: Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting of system issues, determining solutions in line with product and customer specifications. Assess product needs and conduct technical training and product briefings. Perform inspection and testing for fielded and developmental systems. Review and develop technical/security documentation, including test plans, vulnerability assessments, and security procedures. Manage and operate security testing tools such as ACAS Security Center and Nessus servers. Analyze and assist in the application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs). Provide support in the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC LANT) and Intermediate Application (iAPP) solutions. Conduct software and data testing, including performance, security, and integration testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and quality assurance. Required: BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent technical training with 4+ years related experience . Active Secret clearance. Experience in designing and executing test plans for network and security systems. Proficiency in automated testing tools and methodologies. Strong background in providing support for modernization, integration, and sustainment efforts for KMI and cryptographic systems. Experience providing technical assistance for the installation of standalone and networked KMI related systems. Familiarity with US Navy, US Marine Corps, or US Coast Guard systems and processes. Desired: Knowledge of security testing considerations for ports, protocols, OSI model, DNS, IPv4/IPv6 routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email gateways, anti-virus/malware systems, and host system security. Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments. Familiarity with Federal, DoD, and Navy information assurance vulnerability and compliance programs. Proficiency in testing and securing Linux and Windows operating systems. Knowledge of Navy networks (e.g., NMCI, RDT&E, data centers). Meet DOD 8270 Level II requirements upon hire.
