Business Systems Analyst - Planning Applications

RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement projects from initiation to implementation phase including gathering requirements, writing functional and technical design documents, writing test scripts, develop solution using oracle applications based on best practices, implementing, and training end users. Work on all areas of oracle value chain planning (VCP) modules (ASCP, GOP, DEMANTRA, and APCC) as well as oracle e-business suite including inventory, purchasing, order management, bills of material, work-in-process, and supply chain. Work on key processes and elements mainly related to demand to deliver processes which involves monthly sales and operations planning, annual budget planning, site planning and factory scheduling, internal order/sales order booking and scheduling. In addition, support inventory replenishment, purchase order processes, requisition/PO approval process, process, receiving processes against POS/internal orders/inter-org shipments, outside processing, integration with outsourced warehouses, consigned inventory, etc. Guide team and support in developing reports using OBIEE/APCC, customizations, interfaces, and extensions for oracle VCP and EBS applications. Identify process improvements and work with business partners effectively to implement change. Assist end users with day-to-day applications troubleshooting and end user questions including analyzing data using advanced excel, SQL queries. Participate in 24/7 department on-call program if needed and represent the planning applications team at cab meetings. Work on special projects as assigned. Hybrid work is permitted. When not working from home, must report to San Clemente, CA office. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT field (or foreign equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience as a Senior Analyst, in the job offered, or closely related occupation OR a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT field (or foreign equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as a Senior Analyst, in the job offered, or closely related occupation. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/knowledge includes: Experience configuring Oracle VCP Modules: ASCP, Demantra DM/RTSOP, APCC, GOP; Knowledge of technical objects like API's, Schema, tables, Views, Materialized views for VCP modules; Experience and Knowledge of Business Intelligence (OBIEE) components of APCC; Experience configuring Oracle EBS Modules Inventory, BOM, WIP, PO and OM; Knowledge of Technical objects of EBS modules supporting Data collection to VCP and Order releases from VCP to EBS; 2 cycles of end-to-end Implementation of Global Supply Chain Planning processes using ASCP in Constrained Based Environment and Demantra DM/RTSOP or 1 cycle of End to End Implementation plus support of the same project; Experience in Oracle R11i and R12 Applications, PL/SQL, SQL.
