Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Database Developer/API for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . This role requires proficiency in database design and integration, web service/API design, and backend systems integration. Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr. Database Developer/API job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and integrate complex database systems (Oracle, DB2) to meet business requirements. Lead and participate in the architecture and design of web services and APIs (JAVA, Mule) for seamless system communication. Drive backend systems integration to ensure data consistency and operational efficiency. Collaborate with developers and testers to translate functional requirements into technical designs. Define and implement architecture for backend system/application integration using SOA design patterns and microservices. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide applications with new technologies. Ensure adherence to technical standards and governance while leading projects related to data systems enhancement and integration. Communicate effectively with management, business analysts, and team members regarding technical solutions. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, API design, and systems integration. Proficiency in database design and integration (Oracle, DB2, etc.) and web service/API architecture (JAVA, Mule).
