Senior Back End Software Engineer

Job Description ComResource is looking for a Senior Back End Software Engineer. We are seeking an experienced Senior Back End Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java development, microservices architecture, and event-driven design, as well as expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Kafka. This role will focus on building and optimizing backend solutions to support complex enterprise applications. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend solutions within the OpenShift platform. Design and implement microservices using domain-driven design principles. Work with event-driven architectures and messaging frameworks such as Kafka. Perform full lifecycle application development, including coding, debugging, and testing. Conduct software analysis, risk assessments, and performance tuning. Ensure software reliability and maintainability through best practices in object-oriented design and analysis. Integrate backend applications with existing enterprise systems. Maintain and document software functionality, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Support automation efforts to improve software performance and usability. Essentials: 10+ years of Java development experience. Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot. Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven design. Hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes. Proficiency in Kafka for messaging and event streaming. Desired: Experience with performance optimization and automation strategies.
