We found strong Product Market Fit in 2020 and raised a $70m Series B in June 2024 with leading investors like NFDG, Tola Capital and Scale Venture Partners. Your Role And Mission In this phase of rapid growth, we are excited to grow our Finance function, looking for a Strategic Finance Lead . This foundational role will report directly to the Head of Finance and Accounting, with high-visibility, high-impact responsibilities such as the Company's operating model and executive reporting, as well as broad influence across Klarity's financial strategy, metrics, and resource allocation decisions. Own Financial Modeling: Optimize and maintain driver-based financial models and forecasting frameworks to guide near- and long-term planning. Champion Metrics and Data-Driven Decisions: Partner with Accounting, GTM Operations and others to ensure relevant financial and operational data is clean, consistent and readily accessible; enable and demonstrate data-driven decision making. Analyze Business Drivers & KPIs: Fine tune the selection and reporting of key metrics and benchmarks to propel Klarity forward; track and communicate results, variances, and trends to senior leadership; transform information into insights and actionable recommendations for Board reporting and more. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Sales, Engineering and Product to understand new opportunities, identify investment needs and track results and ROI (e.g., for new initiatives, expansions, and product rollouts). Provide Executive-Level Insights: Understand expectations, blind spots, and areas-of-interest for executive reporting, board meetings, investor updates and the like; prepare content to facilitate necessary conversations to shape Klarity's growth trajectory. Optimize Processes & Systems: Design the Finance tool-stack and workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and scalable reporting and planning, with a focus on leveraging AI - including Klarity solutions - and other cutting edge technologies for efficiency and automation gains. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years in FP&A, strategic finance, consulting, investment banking, or private equity Advanced Modeling & Data Skills: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, plus familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a strong advantage. Experience building board-level presentations, partnering with C-level executives, and driving strategic initiatives. Exceptionally High IQ & Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated capacity to handle complex problems with creativity, rigor, and a relentless drive for impact. Strong Analytical Skills: Adept at building complex models and analyzing large datasets; comfortable with scenario analysis and sensitivity testing. Collaborative Partner: Experience working with senior leaders in a matrixed environment; can influence decisions through clear communication and data-backed insights. Operational Rigor: Familiar with implementing or improving financial processes (e.g., forecasting, consolidation, resource allocation) at a scaling company. Agility & Ownership: Capable of pivoting quickly when priorities shift; takes end-to-end ownership of projects from ideation to execution. Bonus Points MBA or CPA (or equivalent) is beneficial but not required. Exposure to high-growth tech or AI-driven companies is a plus.
