International Motors, LLC Lisle, IL Full-time Engineering Posted on February 23, 2025 Project Engineer Sr. International Motors, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer Sr. in Lisle, IL with the following requirements: Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 6 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 8 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities OR PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and 3 years of experience in product design/development and/or computer science experience including 1 year leading others in engineer/design activities Required Skills: Design - 3D, 2D Concepting, vehicle configurations and coding process using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Viscmockup Apply CAE/FEA/Optimization software (NX CAE, Altair Hypermesh, Hyperview, Optistruct, SimSolid, Ansys) and methodologies to validate internal designs and numeric programming platforms (MatLab, Python, Java and Excel VBA math coding) and databases management and querying (SQL, Power BI) Use 5 Why's, 8D's, Minitab, DOE (Design of experiments) Apply parts development process and physical tolerances inspection: GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing), metrology such as Faro arm, laser tracker, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) Apply supplier manufacturing processes knowledge to drive design decisions and solutions related to parts production (Stamping, Piercing, Roll Forming, Shot peening, Quench Temper, Plasma cut, Laser cut, fixturing, inspection process, logistic process) Up to 25% travel required (split evenly between domestic and international); Must live within normal commuting distance of Lisle, IL and near a major airport.
