The Cloud DevOps Engineer is a technical position that supports the development and maintenance of RCMS applications and solutions. The primary purpose of this position is to support the organizational goals of RCMS with a strong background in cloud services, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline our development workflows and ensure robust and scalable cloud deployments. All tasks related to this position are to be done in a manner consistent with RCMS policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state and federal regulations. FLSA Status: Non-ExemptResponsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure changes. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices for software development and deployment. Review test procedures and develop testing scripts. Partner with software engineers to drive QA efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Knowledge and Skills: Experience in Agile frameworks. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodologies. Advanced knowledge of programming languages including .Net (4.5, 8), JavaScript, ReactJS, Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), C#. Experience with Source Control Frameworks (GIT). Proficiency in MS SQL Server including Stored Procedures, Views, Functions. Expertise in React framework, asynchronous processing, MVC (Model View Controller), and Service-Oriented Architecture / Microservices. Keen attention to detail. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Education / Experience: BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. Four or more years of experience or knowledge with web programming languages. Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and a proactive, self-starting approach to work. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines. Strong written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in computer and internet usage. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to foster teamwork. Working Conditions: Will work in a high volume work environment that may require overtime as necessary. May sit for long periods of time. Primarily works inside throughout the year, but some travel to client locations may be required. Typing and reading on a computer.
