Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Manager Technical Architect in Dallas, TX: Job Duties: Work across every technology and system to deliver solutions to customers in every industry. Work hands-on with our customers and partners to solve mission-critical business challenges. Provide remote and onsite technical guidance on MuleSoft implementation projects, evaluate the customer's technical and functional requirements, and develop cost-effective solutions to provide customers with demonstrable returns. Enable customers to understand and employ MuleSoft technology hands-on while coaching and mentoring elite members of a fast-paced, growing organization. Serve as an influencer and thought leader with in-depth technical expertise, credibility, and field experience to establish yourself as a subject-matter expert in a company leading innovation within the integration services industry. Develop solutions to help customers realize their business goals and advise them on best practices for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid integration, and API management. Proactively manage customer outcomes, escalations, and overruns. Ensure that best practices are documented and shared within and beyond the team while also contributing to methodology and other areas of the practice, and actively participate in successful execution as a mentor, and a coach. Help refine consultant career paths and advise an inherited team of seasoned constants on their growth trajectory. Hire, fire, supervise direct staff and their work product, and manage team to assign appropriate tasks to meet deadlines and team goals. Telecommuting is an option. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)). Special Skill Requirements: (1) Cloud-Computing: Public, private and OpenStack infrastructure; (2) Java/J2EE; (3) Machine Learning; (4) Distributed System; (5) SQL and NoSQL Databases; (6) Security; (7) Web Services API; (8) DevOps and CI/CD; (9) Unix/Linux; and (10) Customer engagement.
