Job Responsibilities: Site Maintenance: Assist the development team in maintaining various WordPress sites, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning smoothly. Design Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the final product aligns with design standards and provides an exceptional user experience. Performance & Compliance: Develop with a strong focus on website performance and ADA compliance, ensuring all sites are fast, accessible, and user-friendly. Process Adherence: Follow and enforce best technology practices and workflows across all projects. Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the development of company-wide best practices, standards, and knowledge sharing. Adaptability: Stay ahead of industry trends, learning new technologies and languages as required by specific projects. Client Solutions: Develop solutions based on client feedback, effectively communicating ideas and standards both internally and to clients. Requirements: Experience: 3+ years of experience in developing custom WordPress themes. Technical Skills:Proficient in PHP, SASS/CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery. Working knowledge of Git and code collaboration tools. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Understanding of SEO best practices in web development. Experience with website performance optimization. Familiarity with accessibility and ADA compliance standards. Portfolio: Active portfolio showcasing relevant work (please include links). Bonus if using GitHub repositories provided. Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality, efficiency, and maintaining clean, organized code. Prioritization & Execution: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Organization & Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring timely and efficient project completion. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced Custom Fields (ACF): Experience with ACF for custom WordPress development. Shopify Theme Development: Familiarity with Shopify theme development using Liquid. Graphic Design: A background in graphic design. Experience in Flutter, webgl/threejs, or bricks.
