Network & Systems Administrator, Bend, OR Purpose: The reason the job exists Pahlisch Homes, a family owned, regional production home builder headquartered in Central Oregon since 1983, exists to create community by building a team of people who are dedicated to embracing intentionality, an innovative spirit and a servant's heart in all things.The Network & System Administrator plays a key role as a member of the Data & Information Systems team focusing on IT infrastructure and addressing day-to-day IT functions in addition to executing many strategic project-based initiatives. This position will serve as the help desk support for tier three escalations for 160+ staff members spread across multiple locations. Network & System Administration Maintain Active Directory and user permissions across all systems Install updates on equipment on a quarterly basis Deploy Windows & BIOS updates to endpoints and servers on at least a monthly basis Administer virtual servers Administer a Microsoft-centric tech stack including all Windows Server, Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies Triage and resolve notifications/alerts from various systems Administer phone system Administer corporate, branch and satellite office networks Administer a fleet of PC's, Macs, iPhones and iPads using RMM and MDM solutions Install OS and BIOS updates on all workstations/equipment monthly Install server application updates and keep legacy ERP applications functioning Administer SSO implementation for all applications Continuously analyze current IT Infrastructure processes, technologies and vendors to identify needs and opportunities for improvement. Research, procure, configure and administer all enterprise networking equipment across multiple sites Carry out projects to implement changes to IT Infrastructure based on business initiatives Monitor IT infrastructure utilization and capacity and create capacity plan for servers and storage devices. Procurement & Stewardship Perform periodic license audits to maintain compliance Prepare cost benefits analyses when upgrades are necessary Security & Disaster recovery Work with IT Infrastructure Manager to maintain and test disaster recovery plan. Work with IT Infrastructure Manager to implement overall enterprise security plan Monitor, administer and troubleshoot backups for all systems IT Support Keep up with Microsoft 365 message center to ensure new functionality is assessed, implemented, and users are trained if necessary. Provide guidance to and assist Desktop Support Technician with day-to-day role as needed Time off coverage for Desktop Support Technician Function as the tier three escalation point for the IT infrastructure help desk for all equipment and systems Participate in weekend rotation to provide tier 1-2 help desk support for sales team. Other Define and document internal IT procedures for use by others. Make on-site visits to sales centers and branch offices across the Pacific Northwest. Maintain inventory of all IT assets and software licensing. Write/maintain KB articles, training documentation and create videos Other duties needed to advance the company mission and vision. Requirements: The skills and experience required for the job At least 3 years of experience in a similar role required Minimum of a 4-year related bachelor's degree or commensurate experience Advanced knowledge and experience administering the Microsoft 365 ecosystem Knowledgeable on Azure or AWS administration Technical certifications appreciated but not required.
