The Program Director develops, organizes, and implements high-quality YMCA programs. They are responsible for monitoring and developing budgets, marketing strategies, and ensuring staff are hired and trained in accordance with Channel Islands YMCA expectations. Education and Certification(s): Must be at least 21 years old Bachelor's degree in related field; related work experience may offset degree requirement Childcare Program Director must meet Site Supervisor requirements Aquatics Program Director must meet Lifeguard requirements 2+ years previous work experience in related field Complete required certifications within 30 days of hire Complete all required Branch and Position specific trainings as required within two weeks of hire Skills and Abilities: Ability to obtain a criminal record clearance Ability to participate in the DMV Pull Program Actively support a safety-centric culture by identifying, addressing, and communicating risks and/or potential risks to supervisor, documenting as required Ensure products, services, and overall customer service experience meet expectations Reliable and dependable in job-related tasks, finishing assigned tasks, and meeting deadlines Effectively interact, cooperate, collaborate, and manage conflicts with others to achieve shared goals Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills Strong initiative, work ethic, and judgment Plans and manages identified projects effectively Supports Association's strategic initiative Leads and implements a culture of exceptional and timely service Works within diverse groups at the YMCA to provide leadership and advance goals Effectively manages others through workplace standards and best practices providing a positive work culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
