Role Overview: Working within Appian's Marketing team and reporting to the Vice President, Demand Generation, this role will drive and manage strategy designed to grow and accelerate the sales pipeline and revenue for Appian. The role is responsible for Commercial North America and US Public Sector and responsibilities include overseeing budget, quarterly planning, alignment to sales and marketing goals/metrics, and execution of field marketing programs, activities, and regional events for Appian. Key Responsibilities: Set and implement the growth marketing strategy for our CNA and US Public Sector business including programs focused on demand generation. Work closely with our Digital Marketing, Content, and Product Marketing teams to develop, implement, execute, and measure GTM programs for pipeline creation and acceleration. Develop and execute account, segment, and field-based marketing strategies focused on industry-specific value propositions and product-centered use cases. Help build and implement persona-based marketing programs that span from IT decision makers and influencers to business executives and developer/practitioner roles. Align and collaborate with our sales and partner leadership, Account Executives, and Business Development teams. Regularly manage and review pipeline performance metrics with key stakeholders and analyze ROI by campaign, channel, segment, and source to improve lead and pipeline quality. Drive strategic decision making for optimized campaign strategies. Manage a team of high-performing marketers focused on growing our business across multiple personas. Manage the department budget and make ROI-centered decisions for near-term and future investments. Work closely with Customer Marketing to highlight and promote industry customer success stories. About You: 10+ years of experience in a Field Marketing and/or Demand Generation Role in an Enterprise Software/SaaS environment. Bachelor's Degree required. Experience in crafting results-driven marketing programs. Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on approach. Excellent project management skills. Ability to report and analyze program metrics and ROI. Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong presentation skills. Proven success in working collaboratively with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced, and results-oriented environment. Exercises a high degree of tact and diplomacy. Experienced in using CRM and Marketing Automation systems/tools. About Appian: Appian is a software company that automates business processes.
