Job Summary: As part of ALM First's rapidly expanding Executive Beneï¬ts Solutions team, the Executive Beneï¬ts Consultant role is essential to the ï¬rm's growth, driven by the success of its innovative programs for credit union, banking, university, and healthcare executives. The Executive Beneï¬ts Consultant is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with ï¬nancial institutions and other industries while providing education and tailored solutions for executive beneï¬t programs such as Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs). This position supports ALM First's mission of delivering exceptional service and driving business growth by expanding its presence within the ï¬nancial services sector and broadening into new market sectors, including healthcare and higher education. This role involves generating new business, consulting on plan design, and supporting clients with a high level of professionalism and expertise. By collaborating with internal teams, educating leaders, and building relationships, the consultant will play a critical role in the growth and success of ALM First's Executive Beneï¬ts team. Responsibilities: Responsible for new business, client relations, and providing education to organizations about Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs). Roles include but are not limited to: Develop and manage relationships with organizations across ï¬nancial institutions, healthcare, higher education, and other industries, engaging with C-Suite executives, board members, and other decision-makers. Provide consultative guidance to clients on executive beneï¬t solutions, tailoring programs to meet each organization's unique needs. Generate leads through networking, prospecting, and leveraging personal and professional connections across multiple industries. Conduct client education sessions via webinars, on-site meetings, and virtual platforms. Collaborate with the marketing team to align efforts and implement effective strategies. Represent ALM First at conferences and other events to build brand awareness, establish industry connections, and generate new business opportunities. Manage sales goals through strategic planning, execution, and ongoing performance evaluation. Utilize CRM software to manage sales pipelines, client data, and communication records. Prepare and deliver client-ready presentations on executive beneï¬t plan designs and recommendations. Qualifications: 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably targeting C-Suite executives from credit union and banking, higher education, and healthcare executives. Experience selling to C-Suite executives, board members, and decision-makers in ï¬nancial institutions, healthcare, or higher education. Demonstrated success in strategic sales planning and execution. Proven track record in external business development, including cold-calling. Experience conducting product training and demonstrations. Strong understanding of ï¬nance, banking, capital markets, lending, or treasury functions. Working knowledge of consulting executive beneï¬ts. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software. Life Insurance License required; Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) a plus. Willingness to travel up to 50% and work a flexible schedule. Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and team members.
