Overview AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training. Responsibilities A Week in the Life of an on-site Network Engineer III: Configure and troubleshoot Enterprise-level Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to protect data and control access to the US Government customer's classified network. Install and configure Cisco routers and switches . Troubleshoot Cisco routing/switching, VMware , and VPN issues. Coordinate on-site with remote users to install/configure equipment and troubleshoot remote Network layer 2 and layer 3 issues. Propose enhancements to improve performance and reduce costs of maintaining a compliant network. Interface with senior management and their vendors' technical personnel. Allowed to work independently or semi-independently with minimum guidance or direction. Qualifications US Citizenship is required. TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility. Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree. 8-10 years of networking experience. Experience with Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting, Cisco routers , switches , and firewalls . Experience troubleshooting Network layer 2 and layer 3. Candidates with CCNP and/or CCIE may be given higher consideration. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $92,100.00/Yr. - USD $193,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
