We're looking for a passionate Sr. Architectural Project Manager who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo. You'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and EPCM project delivery. By developing and delivering on project scopes, schedules, budgets, and contracts, you'll help our teams achieve our client's objectives. Most importantly, your successful leadership will contribute to the success of our clients in Rail, Transit, Industrial, and Architecture Facilities. Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively across the organization, and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment. You'll bring your expertise to solve complex problems, ensuring the soaring success of our projects. You'll also provide motivation and direction to project teams and help mentor our junior staff with your expertise. In this role, your key contributions include: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients. In this role, you are the face of Jacobs for clients and external partners responsible for representing our company and maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders. Managing all aspects of Project Planning which include:Development of project management plans to identify stakeholder needs. Investigating and considering alternative approaches and concepts, to ensure development of the most appropriate project solutions. Managing all aspects of Project Design including: Managing the project delivery phases including concept, feasibility, preliminary engineering, and detail engineering and design for major capital investments. Managing the preparation of project scopes of work, plans, schedules, and budgets. Providing overall project management and coordination with internal engineering and client teams. Coordinating with clients, staff, other agency officials, local governments, and architects/engineers etc. to develop and deliver the project deliverables required to meet clients' project phase requirements. Performing Project Monitoring & Control, including:For the duration of the project life cycle, you'll manage the preparation of progress reports to monitor and control capital projects. Implementing change management processes and carrying out project communications throughout the organization. Monitoring all aspects of projects assigned. Managing the schedules and budgets to ensure positive project performance. Conducting monthly project status briefs to upper management. For this particular role, you will be located in the Jacobs office in New York City, NY and work will be hybrid (2-3 days/week). Here's what you'll need: Registered Architect in NY or NJ Bachelor's or master's degree in Architecture 20+ years in architectural design experience with 10+ years specifically in Transit Architecture in the Project Manager role. Demonstrated program experience in the usage of accounting and financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Deltek. Multi-discipline project delivery and coordination in the Project Manager role. Ideally, you'll also have: Familiarity with building code requirements and permitting for NY, NYC, and NJ Active participation in professional organizations. Strong client-facing communication and negotiation skills Responsible for the profit and loss, and project delivery for the project(s) PMP certification Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach to design discussions. Effective coordination with internal architectural and engineering team members. Self-motivated, dynamic individual capable of working independently. Skilled at working well under pressure and meeting deadlines. Strong oral and written communication, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, data analysis, and technical problem-solving skills. Exceptional organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, with creative problem-solving abilities. Willingness to visit project sites during construction. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
