Senior Cloud Engineer w/ Kafka Exp

The Expertise and Skills You Bring Extensive experience (5+ years) working with Container ecosystems / Kubernetes ecosystem / Event Driven Architectures. Extensive experience (10+ years) applying software engineering patterns, coding best practices and principles. Extensive experience (3+ years) with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment. Passion for new technologies and working in an agile environment. Bonus skills (Nice to have) - Cloud Certifications including either Kubernetes certifications, or certifications in either AWS, Azure, Kafka/Apache, Java, Python or Kubernetes. Strong experience programming with Kafka (i.e., engineering software with a background in Python/Java including API development):Must have extensive experience with Kafka, not just subscribers/consumers, but brokers, Kafka ecosystems, event streaming and cloud developments. Python or Java is a must. Experience with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation (flexible, but will need to use Terraform; experience with Chef or other IaaC tools is acceptable). In addition to: Extensive experience working with Kubernetes and Kubernetes ecosystem. Extensive experience applying software engineering patterns, coding best practices and principles. Extensive experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment. Passion for new technologies and working in an agile environment. Extensive experience working hands-on with infrastructure as code. Extensive experience working with mid-tier technologies (APIs).
