Location: 100% onsite work in the Northbrook, IL office. Position Overview: The IT Technical Specialist has a primary role of providing C-suite technology support to our VPs and Directors. Responsibilities include assisting with conference room technology including Crestron, MS Hubs, Projectors, Mobile Setups, and other Video/Audio hardware onsite. Key Responsibilities: Perform PC imaging, migration, and deployment including life cycle management of corporate devices. Troubleshoot issues with desktops and laptops including connectivity, blue screens, viruses, and printing for both on- and off-site users on Windows, Macintosh, and iOS/Android environments. Coverage for onsite and remote clients. Coordinate and schedule with vendor support for on-site/off-site break-fix repairs. Install and remove software from PCs following licensing protocols. Assist with ongoing computer refresh projects with communication, scheduling, and data transfer. Setup new hires/users and assist with office move requests of standard laptops and desktops Lenovo/Mac. Decommission end-user technology upon terminations, including recovering any IT assets. Document all end-user interactions and manage all open requests in ServiceNow within specified SLAs. Assist with the daily delivery and receiving of bulk hardware from clients and vendors. Qualifications: Some university education in an Applied Science or a related discipline plus generally two years of directly related experience. Demonstrated ability and knowledge of computer systems including network infrastructure, servers, and PABX systems. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, both assisted and unassisted. Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 6-hour periods several times a day. Ability to move about different facilities for up to 6-hour periods several times a day. Travel to other sites to provide support to customers and colleagues (4-5 trips/year). Skills: Dependable and customer-focused. Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma operating concepts for process improvement. Strong multi-tasking skills for an efficient work environment. Proven customer service background with strong oral and written communication. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Reliable mode of transportation. Total Rewards: The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000, based on multiple factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. It also provides health benefits such as medical, dental, and vision; wellness benefits; and retirement savings (401K).
