Position Summary: Firmware Engineering - 2025 Summer Program Location: Nashua, NH Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. We are currently seeking a Firmware Engineering intern to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES: This role supports the Firmware Engineering group in their work on High-Speed Cables. What you'll do: Provide firmware and software support to product qualification, testing, and manufacturing. Ensure that all firmware and software are well documented and can be supported by other team members. Shadow full-time engineers to understand their role and function within a team. QUALIFICATIONS: A strong candidate will have completed their sophomore or junior year in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering programs. Experience with ARM Cortex-M0/M0+ and embedded solutions. Basic understanding of I2C, including how to debug and support a bit-banged bus. Working knowledge of SWD style debugging. Experience with source code control systems, including a habit to make regular check-ins. Self-starter, able to work efficiently without having all details or requirements laid out on the table.
