LocationNew York City, NY, United States Posted onFeb 19, 2025 Valid ThroughMar 21, 2025 Profile Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly qualified eDiscovery Counsel to join its Litigation Services team. This position will focus on applying advanced technical and legal eDiscovery strategies to case teams and clients throughout the discovery process. The ideal candidate will utilize cutting-edge research platforms, including generative AI, to conduct high-level legal research on eDiscovery-related issues across various jurisdictions. Location: New York, NY Duties: Serve as a resource for strategic legal analysis regarding litigation procedure and eDiscovery for both internal teams and clients. Stay updated on evolving legal trends in eDiscovery and integrate these insights into firm practices. Prepare, present, and moderate Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions on eDiscovery innovations and strategies. Develop and design client-facing materials, such as eDiscovery playbooks, bulletins, and educational resources. Collaborate with the eDiscovery Solutions Counsel and Practice Support Services team to develop and maintain best practices. Update and maintain eDiscovery templates, educational manuals, and other resources. Attend conferences, seminars, and CLE courses to stay current with case law and industry developments. Educate attorneys and staff on effective eDiscovery strategies and disseminate updates on legal changes. Ensure the protection and confidentiality of sensitive, privileged, and proprietary information. Requirements: Admission to the relevant state bar. A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation or a related legal practice. At least 3 years of experience in managing large-scale electronic document reviews and productions. Experience in litigation response, electronic discovery, and records management. Client-facing experience in the eDiscovery space. Experience in white-collar investigations and regulatory matters is a plus. Education: Certifications: Admission to the relevant state bar. Skills: Strong expertise in eDiscovery law and best practices. Ability to articulate complex eDiscovery concepts in a clear, accurate, and concise manner. Leadership skills, including organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
