Sr. Cyber Security Engineer

Overview/ Job Responsibilities Sev1Tech is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to provide cybersecurity, engineering, deployment, and integration support to protect, and defend information and information systems (IS) by ensuring their availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation. They will also provide technical leadership and expertise for Enterprise-wide cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, sustainment, and life cycle support to the war-fighter, DoD, joint and federal customers. Minimum Qualifications Minimum fifteen (15) years of experience in Engineering, Systems Analysis, DoN and DoD IT Systems, Information Assurance, Web Development, or Engineering Management to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements. Three (3) years of technical experience in support of information assurance/network protection or virtualization projects. Experience with Navy RMF. Navy Validator experience. Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements. Experience using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, PowerShell) to manage systems. Perform hands-on technical security risk assessments to identify flaws, threats and risks in emerging IT projects, and develop technical in-depth engineering solutions to address and mitigate risks.
