Technology Consulting, Financial Services Senior- Solution Architect: Primary location for this role is in NY. Our Financial Risk Technology practice helps clients manage credit, market and liquidity risk across regions and regulatory regimes. We provide full lifecycle services to enable the implementation of best practice risk management processes and systems. The opportunity The Financial Risk Technology practice focus areas include: Credit risk technology solutions. Treasury risk technology solutions. Trading and market risk technology solutions. Your key responsibilities Interact with clients to gain in-depth understanding of our clients' unique needs and goals. Work in a cross-functional environment with business and technology consultants. Deliver strategic enhancement of IT systems or operational processes supporting regulatory compliance. Implement technology performance improvement solutions. Research client inquiries and emerging issues relating to risk management. Motivate engagement teams by fostering an innovative and inclusive work environment. Support the team in sales activities. Skills and attributes for success Financial and risk background to build and deliver practical plans. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends. Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes. Experience in executing controls related assessments across multiple risk and regulatory domains. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. To qualify for the role you must have A Bachelor's degree (computer science, engineering, or related field) and approximately 2 years of related work experience in an Information Technology role in a financial services company OR A Master's degree (computer science, engineering, or related field) and minimum of 1 year of related work experience. Enterprise IT implementation experience leveraging Agile Waterfall methodologies. Hands-on experience in multiple phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Deep understanding of regulatory reporting requirements. Experience with packages/vendors used in risk management. Technical Skillset Enterprise IT implementation experience. Hands-on experience in one or more phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). Working knowledge of Data structures and Algorithms. Experience with middleware platforms.
