Job Summary Job Description WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Advisor Desktop Salesforce technology team is looking for a Sr Salesforce developer to work on large cross-divisional and transformational programs with multiple applications and/or 3rd party vendors. In this role, you will partner with IT and with assigned business line(s) to assess, research, and analyze business, technical, and system needs to resolve business systems issues by recommending technology solutions that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Technical Direction and Consulting Consultant on technical and management direction for strategic projects within the Advisor Desktop (Salesforce). Research emerging trends/best practices and determine implications of proposed solutions on meeting business unit strategy. Develop feasibility studies and proposals for senior management and executive decisions on large complex projects. Together with Project Manager, determine best mix of development, interfacing applications, third-party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives. Develop measures and monitor ongoing effectiveness of IT services for assigned business line(s). Contribute to successful project completion by identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies. Develop criteria to evaluate 3rd party vendors and software as well as due diligence exercises. (For very complex projects, conduct due diligence; for less complex projects oversee the process.) Identify technical and business opportunities to take advantage of cross-project knowledge, best practices, and reusability to expedite projects. Testing & Documentation Manage all aspects of testing and verification ensuring all tasks are performed for all interfaces. Ensure adequate technical documentation and training. Planning, Implementation & Support Manage all aspects of implementation planning & coordination. Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement, and stabilize phases of the project. Perform database/disaster recovery planning for multiple systems. Perform performance tuning to improve performance across multiple systems. Relationships & Communication Act as primary IT liaison with multiple interfacing applications, 3rd party vendors, IT Executive and/or Project Managers. Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close. Lead complex group meetings (including business partners) for technical design, decision making, problem solving, implementation, and strategic planning. Prepare and deliver presentations to business and technology partners, senior management, and executives selecting the appropriate approach based on the audience. Resolve conflicts/issues and escalate others as appropriate. Development & Coaching Provide direction, expertise, feedback, coaching, and development to build the capability of more junior staff. Continually enhance skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, the business, and information systems. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have BS or MS degree in a technology-related field. 3+ years Salesforce Developer experience (org size over 2000 users). Strong background in Apex and Lightning Web Components. Numerous programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C#, PHP, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, etc.). Strong knowledge of Financial Services Cloud. Experience with different deployment techniques such as changesets, ants, and Jenkins. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Automation tools such as Process Builder, Flows, Approval Processes. Certifications - Salesforce Certified Admin, Salesforce Developer 1. Integration tools & techniques (ESBs, Orchestration, SOA, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, etc.). IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements. Nice-to-have: Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large, publicly traded corporation. Knowledge and experience with MuleSoft. The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $65,000-$115,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
