SITEC- Network Wireless Administrator- Fort Liberty, NC Responsibilities Peraton is seeking Wireless Network Administrators to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. These positions are located at SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill AFB, FL, as well as at TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.About SITEC 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM)The SITEC 3 EOM Task Order (TO) provides USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services. This includes: Network Operations (NetOps) maintenance Systems and network infrastructure support End-user and common device support Configuration, change, license, and asset management Training Install, Move, Add, and Change (IMACs) services Each of these functions plays a critical role in supporting USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and end-users operating globally 24/7/365. Wireless Network Administrator Responsibilities: Wireless Network Administrators provide Tier 3 wireless network support in alignment with SIE OPORD. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with expertise in wired and wireless network technologies. Key Duties: Plan, design, and implement wireless networks, defining engineering specifications and resource requirements for network hardware/software Perform systems engineering, design, analysis, and maintenance of wireless and wired networks Recommend wireless network optimization, additions, and upgrades to meet Government requirements Conduct and document radio frequency (RF) coverage and site surveys Document network infrastructure and design Some positions may require shift work or a non-standard work schedule to support USSOCOM's mission-critical operations. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of wireless equipment, standards, protocols, and security Experience in wireless local area network (WLAN) design Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with technicians, vendors, and managers Demonstrated leadership and customer interaction skills Position Locations: Fort Liberty, NC Qualifications Education & Experience: High School Diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience Security Clearance: Active DoD TS/SCI clearance Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCWA (Certified Wireless Analysis Professional) certification is required. Must hold a DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification.
