The Senior Security Specialist - HVA Analyst shall support the ACIO/CS Office's maintenance of Treasury directives and manuals. As part of this effort, the Policy Analyst will support day-to-day policy management tasks. Responsibilities Assist the ACIO/CS regarding coordinating with Treasury Bureaus on required updates to Treasury cybersecurity policy, and reviewing federal policies, standards, and guidelines for their impact on Treasury. Review NIST standards, special publications, CNSSI, and other federal issuances to assess their impact on Treasury cybersecurity policies, both for unclassified Non-NSS and NSS systems. Assist in formulating or updating policies, standards, and guidelines based on new federal directives, emerging technologies, or evolving threats. Coordinate Treasury-wide policy management working groups and voting bodies to ensure proper review and approval of all updates. Prepare briefings for Treasury leadership and relevant stakeholders on proposed and/or approved revisions to both TD P 85-01 Volumes 1 and 2, including any corresponding standalone policies. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, providing appropriate recommendations for integrating them into cybersecurity policies and standards. Manage the clearance process for recommended changes to TD P 85-01, including obtaining necessary approvals for the overhaul of Volume 1 and the drafting of Volume 2 and Appendix B. Ensure all policy revisions, additions, and amendments are accessible to relevant stakeholders through public and secure web pages, or any other mechanism requested by the government. Assist in the development of the Treasury Cybersecurity Strategic Plan, incorporating both non-NSS and NSS. Establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on all latest processes and procedures. Participate and provide recommendations in the maturation of the program. Prepare deliverables, including progress, status, and management reports in accordance with the Contract Data Requirements/Deliverables List. Complete annual company and customer-required training, as required. Complete timesheets daily in an online system according to company policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degreeMasters preferred 5+ years of senior-level technical expertise with specialized experience in cybersecurity and interoperability for complex hardware, software, and automated information systems. Active and valid driver's license required. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Department of Treasury background investigation for the project's life cycle. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must have knowledge, skills, and abilities in one or more of the following Cybersecurity Concepts: Architecture Principles, Security of Networks, Applications and Data, Security Implications, and Adoption of Evolving Cyber Technology. Possess in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity architecture. Must have experience in the subject matter at a similar size, scope, and complexity as required by this Task Order. Experience managing cyber vulnerability and threat information on an HQ level. Position requires senior level technical expertise with specialized experience in cybersecurity and interoperability for complex hardware, software, and automated information systems. Possess strong communication and organization skills. Be a highly motivated, independent thinker and team player with a sense of urgency and the ability to meet management and customer deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must have the ability to take and pass a drug test (the department may require drug screening for probable cause at any time). Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability. Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested. Ability to multi-task within a high-stress, performance-based environment. Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines. Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
